Trans Fundraiser Poetry
Anthology

The Trans Poetry Anthology is a project I am undertaking, one I hope to make a yearly publication, with poetry and illustrations gathered from self-identifying trans and non-binary artists.

Aims:

The aims of the publication is to promote promote trans and non-binary joy and love, awareness for our struggles, and to use art and artistic expression to fundraise for socially just causes. For this anthology specifically to fundraise for trans gender-affirming surgeries. 80%* of all profits will go directly to GoFundMe or other similar fundraising sites for gender affirming surgery. Three fundraisers at a time shall be chosen to which the profits shall be shared equally amongst the three fundraisers. Once one or multiple are paid in full then other trans-affirming surgeries will be chosen for the profits to go to.

Finances:

The publication is sold via Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) in both paperback and e-book form. The selling price includes the KDP printing costs for the publication, with 80%* additional revenue to be donated to Trans Surgery fundraisers via a platform akin to 'GoFundMe' or others for the duration of this publication's sale.

Terms:

All poetry and illustrations submitted must be the original property of the person submitting, by submitting the use has been permitted for this publication but ownership unequivocally lies with the original artist/poet. So works of art can be published elsewhere, but the contributor consents to the use of their work in this publication for the duration of its publication in the yearly issue submitted to. With the submission there will need to be formed a contract which agrees to the terms (also outlined here) merely for accountability purposes to ensure clear agreements and enshrining the contributors' ownership of their work in totality in addition to the conditions of publication requiring details of the artists to be credited in this publication with a 100 word artist bio and accompanying social media handles (unless agreed otherwise).

As for the full terms and conditions and contract please find these attached in the document to the right.

Any questions about any of the terms, process or details, then please submit these via email to beautyinnormalcy@gmail.com.

If you have a fundraiser you would like us to contribute the funds from these publications to, then please email beautyinnormalcy@gmail.com with a link to the fundraiser.

* The reason for the donations only being 80% are due to tax required by the United Kingdom.
