Poetry has long been one of the ways I explore and understand the world around me. Through Beauty in Normalcy, I write about the experiences, relationships, emotions and overlooked details that shape our lives, including those that can be difficult to express directly.
My poetry commissions offer an opportunity to turn something meaningful to you into an original piece of writing. It might be a memory you want to preserve, an important person in your life, an experience that has shaped you, or simply an idea or feeling you would like to see expressed in words.
Rather than producing generic poetry for an occasion, I want to understand the meaning behind your request. You can provide written information about the subject, and we can arrange a conversation where further discussion would help me better understand what you want to convey.

Personalised Poetry Packages
My original commission structure offers three options:

Single Poem: One original poem, with one included revision.

Poetry Pair: Two original poems, with two included revision rounds.

Poetry Collection: Three original poems, with three included revision rounds.
The length, style, subject and intended purpose of each poem are discussed before accepting the commission. My own writing often uses reflective, free-verse poetry, although other styles can be explored where appropriate.

Other Poetry Commissions
Commemorative and Tribute Poetry: Original writing marking a person, relationship, memory, celebration, farewell or significant occasion.
Photographic Poetry: Poetry paired with a photograph to create a unified piece of visual and written artwork. This can use an existing image from my archive, a suitable photograph you provide, or newly commissioned photography.
Extended Poetry Projects: Longer works, interconnected poems, thematic sequences and collections can be discussed individually.

What's Included
Every accepted commission includes an agreed creative brief, the original writing, the specified revisions and digital delivery of the finished work.
Additional poems, substantial changes to the original brief, printed presentation, photographic elements and exclusive rights can be quoted separately.

Important Information
Poetry is a subjective art form. I aim to produce something meaningful and carefully considered, but the final work will also reflect my own creative interpretation.
Personal-use rights are included unless otherwise agreed. Commercial use, exclusivity and copyright transfer require a separate written agreement.

Photography is central to Beauty in Normalcy. My work explores the extraordinary qualities of ordinary moments, alongside the natural world, changing landscapes, human environments and the relationship between observation and feeling.
With over seven years of experience, my photography spans wildlife, landscape, macro, street, portrait, astrophotography, long exposure, storm, aerial, architectural, travel, food, event and corporate photography, among other disciplines.
Rather than restricting myself to a single photographic genre, I draw upon different techniques and perspectives to create images suited to the subject and the story behind them.
Bespoke Photography Commissions
If you're looking for a particular photograph, I can work with you to plan and capture an image that meets your requirements.
My original commission packages are structured around the number of final images:

Individual Photograph: One professionally edited image, with one revision.

Photographic Set: Three professionally edited images, with two revision rounds.

Extended Photographic Collection: Five professionally edited images, with three revision rounds.
Original indicative turnaround periods were 3–4, 5–7 and 7–10 days respectively, subject to the project's requirements. Actual dates are agreed before booking.

What Goes Into a Bespoke Photograph?
A commissioned photograph involves substantially more than the moment of capture.
Depending on the project, the process may include discussing your requirements, researching suitable subjects or locations, planning around lighting and environmental conditions, preparing equipment, travelling, exploring different angles and compositions, capturing alternatives, reviewing the images, editing and preparing the finished work.
The price reflects the complete creative and technical process, including professional photographic equipment, editing software, accumulated experience and the time necessary to produce something tailored to your needs.

Other Photography Services
Fine-Art Photography Prints: Selected existing images available for personal display, with printing options and pricing quoted according to size and finish.
Existing Photography: You may be able to purchase or license an image from my archive without commissioning an entirely new photograph.
Photography Licensing: Existing photographs may be licensed for publications, websites, exhibitions, creative projects, charitable organisations and commercial purposes, depending on the intended use.
Creative Photographic Collaborations: Projects combining photography with poetry, research, interpretation or storytelling are also welcome.

Important Information
Travel, accommodation, entry fees, permissions, specialist equipment and other project-specific expenses are quoted separately where required.
Certain subjects, especially wildlife, astronomical events and weather-dependent photography, cannot be guaranteed. I will discuss feasibility, possible alternatives and suitable arrangements before accepting a commission.
Drone photography is subject to relevant aviation regulations, permissions, environmental considerations and safe operating conditions.
Final edited images are supplied in agreed digital formats. RAW files are not included unless expressly agreed.
My original Fiverr discussions allowed for standard promotional use of completed work, with exclusivity available as a paid addition. For direct commissions, I would confirm portfolio permissions and any confidentiality requirements in writing before starting.

​Bringing Out the Potential in Your Photographs

A photograph doesn't necessarily finish when the shutter closes. Editing offers an opportunity to refine the qualities already present in an image, correct technical limitations or develop a particular visual atmosphere.
Drawing on my experience in photography and post-processing, I offer editing services for personal photographs, portfolios, social media, creative projects and professional imagery.
My approach is guided by the original photograph and your intended result. Sometimes the best edit is one that remains almost invisible; other times, a more creative interpretation can transform the mood and meaning of an image.

Photo Editing Packages

My original Fiverr structure was based on the number of photographs supplied:

What You'll Receive

The work will be based on the original material you supply, the agreed brief and the level of editing selected.

Important Information
​
Standard editing packages do not automatically include extensive object removal, complex compositing, reconstruction of missing image detail, severe damage restoration or specialist portrait retouching.
Some limitations in the original photograph cannot be completely corrected, particularly where essential detail was never captured.
Customers must have the appropriate permissions to supply and use the photographs. I will not claim ownership of your original images.

What Can Be Included?

Depending on the project, editing may include footage selection, trimming, sequencing, transitions, basic colour correction, audio balancing and preparation for the intended platform.
The quotation will specify the maximum quantity of source footage, finished video length, revision allowance, delivery format and expected completion date.

Important Information
​
The amount of source footage and complexity of the requested edit can significantly affect the time required. Prices are therefore based on the agreed project rather than finished video length alone.
Advanced animation, motion graphics, extensive sound restoration, original filming, professional voice-over and specialist visual effects are not automatically included.
Customers must have the necessary rights to any footage, music or other supplied materials.

Completing a book is one achievement. Preparing it for publication is another.

You remain responsible for your publishing account, legal rights, supplied content and final publishing decisions.
Full manuscript rewriting, extensive proofreading, cover illustration, advanced typesetting, marketing campaigns and ongoing publishing management are not automatically included.
The precise level of assistance, deliverables and responsibilities will be agreed before the project begins.

I do not offer assessed academic assignments written for submission as another person's own work.
